At Brooke House College, the goal is to foster a cozy, familial environment for every student. The college is comprised of 8 distinct houses, each boasting unique traits and amenities designed to ensure students’ comfort and well-being.

Varieties of Residency at Brooke House College

Residency at Brooke House is categorized into two types: supervised and over-18. In the supervised residences, at least one dedicated houseparent is present, guaranteeing a secure atmosphere for those under 18. Students who are over 18 reside in houses with a full-time supervisor, providing an equilibrium of freedom and guidance.

Accommodation Standards

Every house at Brooke House is fully outfitted. They offer a communal room with a flat-screen TV and media system, a small kitchen for light snacks, and WiFi connectivity. Each dormitory includes laundry services, and there is a central laundry area equipped with all necessary machines for cleaning and drying clothes. The PK building, a central social hub, includes amenities such as a pool table, table tennis, and a large cinema screen.

Beyond Academics

Beyond the classroom, Brooke House cultivates a laid-back, informal atmosphere. Students are encouraged to manage their independence responsibly, with few rules governed by common sense. This promotes a relaxed ambiance where students can de-stress and socialize freely.

Holiday Stay

Throughout the year, Brooke House does not completely shut down. Students who are over 18 have the option to remain at the college during any holiday periods. Nevertheless, this privilege is not extended to those in supervised residences.

Boarding Residences at Brooke House College

Brooke House provides a variety of boarding options, with students grouped based on age. These include Georges House, Burnmill, The Cottages, and Brooke for those under 18. For final-year students, there are Union and Coventry houses. Northampton and DJW are premium residences featuring en-suite bathrooms for under-18 students.
